This Privacy Policy is designed to tell you about our practices regarding collection, use and disclosure of information that you may provide to the company via this site or through any other interaction with us.
Personal data
Personal data includes your name, job role, business address, email address, telephone numbers, social media addresses and other typical contact details, e.g. Skype address as well as photos and videos from events and training. In a limited number of cases, for example if you sub-contract to us, we will additionally have some of your financial information such as bank details to enable us to pay you.
We only collect and hold your personal data if we meet you and you offer it to us so we can keep in touch, if you email us via an address on our website, we speak by phone or we are at an event or training together. You can use this website without divulging any personal information and we don’t track who’s doing this although we use Google Analytics to find out which region you are from and other generic data.
Personal data held online, in hard copy form or in other electronic forms by One Planet Limited is used for communicating with and servicing potential and actual clients as well as keeping in touch and linking with individuals and organisations who have a common interest in advancing sustainable and ethical practices.
We typically win work and become involved in projects through recommendations, networking and people responding to our thought pieces, articles and other content we produce. We do not use your details for marketing, although we may send you a seasonal greetings e-card to keep in touch and may approach you with specific requests, e.g. for references.

Commercial and voluntary information
To provide a service to you, you may voluntarily share commercial information with us, including under a Non-Disclosure agreement. If you are an assurance client, we are required by our professional code of practice to retain the information for at least 6 years. We typically retain project information securely on cloud based platforms Dropbox for as long as we could service you as a client. Our laptops use 2 stage access verification.
You may at any time request that this information be removed from our systems by writing to hello@oneplanet.biz or letting us know any other way. Users may find out what personal information we hold about themselves on our systems at any time, by writing to the above address or calling us.
